Hello Friends - I hope you are doing well. Bo accomplished his first day on the 7th floor. He amazed them with his walking hopefully soon he will amaze them with his breathing ability. They are going to allow him tomorrow to start lifting weights in the gym at the hospital. Which will allow him to venture more and feel whole again. Addi got to spend a little time with Daddy which was nice as well. I do not think, or I hope, I will not have much to post these next couple of days. So remember no news is good news.
Love to All

Christi, Bo, and Addi,
You and Addi enjoy 7th floor Bo. You have been so wonderful writing in the blog and keeping us updated. Don't worry about not writing for a while. Like you said "No news is good news." We will stay positive and hope that Bo's spirit come up as he gets to do different things in a new environment. You and Addi relax and all of you enjoy each other and concentrate on helping Bo to work his magic and get out of Duke and back home.
We continue to send you love, hugs, prayers, and lots of laughter.

Love,
Aunt Mary and Uncle Jeff

Christi, I am so happy Bo has moved out of the ICU! I read your blog regularly and really appreciate the updates. I also wanted to let you know that the N.C. Lung Cancer Partnership will be having our monthly meeting next week (Aug. 20) at the Duke Clinics in the Rauch Conf. Room, from 1-2:30. If you would like to join us, we would love to have you! You can take a break and join us for lunch. We will be talking about fund raising ideas and awareness/education campaigns in N.C. Bo is an inspiration to our many lung cancer survivors and advocates we have in the group. Let me know if you have any questions or would like to join us. Amy (Amy@NationalLungCancerPartnership.org)

Christie--

This might be a bit much to ask, but we haven't seen yours, Bo's or Addi's smiling faces for so long. Do you think you guys could post a picture...just so we remember what you guys look like :)
