Good Evening Everyone - Today was an exciting day for Bo, they gave him a "day" pass to leave the hospital grounds for 2 hours. So off we went. We tried to visit Duke Gardens, but it got awfully hot fast, so then we sort of just drove around. It was great, but also a little sad when we had to go back. Really hard to go back. But we do know and want Bo only to come home when he is healthy enough, so we work out and wait. It was still nice to have Daddy riding in the car with us.
We are hoping tomorrow that we will find out more of when he will have the wrap procedure. They tried to schedule it Friday, but to no avail. So now they try tomorrow and we will see how fast everything happens. (remember Duke time)
I hope to post more exciting news tomorrow.
Love to All

Love reading the "good reports". You guys keep up the great work. You are an awesome team. So proud of you. You are masters of keeping the "main thing" the main thing. Blessings to you.

How exciting to be able to leave the hospital! I know there were smiles all over all of your faces...I can see them now! Looking forward to reading tomorrow's post! Love you guys!

We are so thrilled to hear that this week has brought good news and a bit of freedom. Bo, you have been my inspiration the past few weeks. On 7/28 I had minor back surgery. Thinking everything was going great, I went back to work after one week. then, wham! I got lowered by a really strong infection. It was really depressing to go backwards and then I ended up having to have another surgery to have it cleaned out. The entire time, I just keep remembering Christi's comments about 2 steps forward and 1 step back and Duke time and dealing with doctors. My journey is so simple and easy compared to yours and your strength and fortitude inspires me to keep a positive attitude and to not complain and whine. I have lots of energy and prayers to spare and am sending them your way constantly. We are so thrilled to hear the great news about the biopsies.
We are BOlievers!! ;)

Christi, Bo, and Addi,
What a fun day the three of you had. How exciting to get to be away from the hospital. I know it was fun just riding around and hanging out together. Things are looking up!

Aunt Mary and Uncle Jeff
Congratulations! What an exciting update. I will keep praying for you, Bo!
Christi,
This is Bo's gold medal and like the athletes, he earned it. How exciting for you three to be alone together "out in the real world". I am over the top with joy. Keep it going, Bo.
Love,
Kay
That is great....
I am so happy for Bo.
You go Bo.
Everyone in Rehab misses you. They all say hello, patients and staff.
