What a fun day today...Bo and I got to hang out all day thanks to the Graham family letting Addi play with them this weekend. (Thank You!) Bo and I got him all cleaned up for Monday's doctor visit to set the game plan for the week. Then we played Battleship working on Bo's fine motor skills, he let me win. We walked, walked and walked all day long. We are working on Bo taking deeper breathes to pull the CO2 out. So lets focus on getting the diaphragm stronger, Bo relaxing more (no panting) and walking our way out of the hospital.
Take care
Christi, Addi, and Bo

Christi and Bo,
It sounds like you had a wonderful day of relaxing and being together. Keep working on breathing deep. Maybe Bo should watch some Yoga or Tai Chai dvds to help him work on that deep breathing.
We hope Monday brings an encouraging and successful game plan for the week.
Our thoughts, hugs, love, prayers, and laughter are with you both.
Love,
Aunt Mary and Uncle Jeff

Hi Bo and Christi, I just wanted to let you know what the whole Rosa family is still keeping you in their prayers. We miss you at Fig. We can't wait until you get back in the office. Also, I have no life so if Christi needs anything at all, I would be more than happy to help out!!

Hi Guys,

Sorry we have not posted in a while. I am currently at the ICU at the University of Michigan with my mom. She had open heart surgery today to repair two of her heart valves. After seven hours is surgery pulled through well but we are trying to get her off the vent and she is fighting the tube. She hates it and is making it worse by not relaxing. She is firecraker! She has been in and out of the hospital since March. During that time we have talked a lot about you Bo, and it provided her with so much encouragment to know that you have over come such great odds. You were one of the last things she asked me about the night before her surgery. So see you are an inspiration! I have felt like Christi today updating everyone with email posts on her condition. I tried to use humor and for sure had a million typos:) Anyway wanted to let you know that the past few days have given me a new appreciation for what you have been going through. Keep up the hard work! We are glad to hear you had a relaxing day yesterday. We have you in our prayers. Lots of Love, Theresa
