Hello everyone sorry for the delay but I always forget that we are running on Duke time. Bo has not gone to surgery yet...hopefully soon. Sorry I should have said something earlier, but I kept thinking they were going to take him soon. I also have been spending as much time that I can with him while he is awake. He is really excited that we were paid last week, he nods his head when I ask him if he sees crazy stuff, (he is truly drugged out) He always wants to look at the picture of Addi. He misses his Bonnie Jane, and everyone at work. He is moving his eyebrows a lot when I tell him about all the well wishes and prayers being said, I made sure to tell him about everyone. He cannot wait to see and talk to everyone. Not much to report right now, but I will be sure to let everyone know when he goes in for surgery and when he comes out.
Please pray that we can have one uneventful surgery and not let me worry. Wait until everyone sees my worry lines.
Christi

Christi, hang tough girl! You are doing great and I know Bo would be proud of the way you are handling this. There is a prayer chain with strong prayer warriors all over everywhere with Bo at the top of their list. You all remain in my prayers constantly. Keep the faith!

Tell Bo there are thousands of people praying for him and you. I think we've turned a corner, there maybe setbacks to come but Bo's still fighting and winning.

Christie, worry lines mean you've lived a full life. You are as strong as you need to be - lean on God for the rest. You are both an inspiration to many people, and I believe God chose you for that purpose.

It is so refreshing to hear that you have been able hang out with him and have him communicate with you!!!It made me smile to know he still has his sense of humor even through all this. Maybe these drugs he is on will get him to loosen up a bit and finally stop doing up that top button on his golf shirt!!! Just kidding, I really like to pick on him for that! We will pray for a smooth surgery with the trach and feeding tube! :) xoxoxo Theresa and Kevin

Christi,

You are an inspiration to all of us. I pray that you know the Lord wants/needs you to take care of yourself. Bo is so blessed to have you for his wife. I love you and can't wait to give Addi another race car or cap.

Win this race, Bo.

Christi,

I just came across Bo's blog through another lung cancer patient that I correspond with (my dad had small cell lung cancer so I was involved in many website discussions about it). I just wanted to let you know that I am praying very hard for you and Bo and your beautiful little girl Addi. You and Bo are truly an inspiration to all who are fighting this terrible disease. You and Bo deserve much happiness and I am sorry that you have had to struggle at such a young age. With your positive attitude and half the country praying for you, I truly believe you will overcome this last obstacle! God be with you and I will add you to my prayers!

My family and I are 100% behind you, Bo,and all of your families affected by this hard time. My Mom checks the blog daily as well as several other close friends in various states. They are all praying for you too.

By the way, I am SO glad someone else likes to give Bo "the business" for fastening that top button on his golf shirts!! Tell him now he'll have to leave it undone so the ladies can see his war wounds :-) Then tell him to get better so we can all pick on him for it.
