Hey just me again today...I just wanted to update on what Bo has accomplished today. He walked 400 feet, did a morning trach trial for 3 hours and then another one this afternoon for 3 hours. He is pushing himself right along. Tomorrow should be a couple 4 hours intervals, let cross our fingers.
Sleep tight

hey christi - this is probably a dumb question, but what is the difference between the trach trials and going without the vent?

Keep up the hard work Bo. You have come a long, long way and are truly amazing. The fight is almost over and you have won.

Christi,
Thanks for explaining what is happening to Bo. He is working so hard. I can't imagine how he feels. We will pray for him to be confident as he goes thought these steps to breath on his own. You are both so strong. Please know we are always sending positive thoughts, love, prayers, and hugs your way every day.
Love,
Aunt Mary and Uncle Jeff

Thrilled for Bo and so proud of how hard he works. Many of us will never know how scary it was to him to breathe on his own after the transplant and now he is accomplishing longer and longer intervals on his own. Thrilled.
Love,
Kay

Hi Bo and Christi,
You are the dynamic duo. With the help of the hospital staff and PT you both will be walking out of ICU together very soon. Bo, I know it is hard work, but you are a very strong man and a winner.
