Last post for the evening...things were pretty stable and status quo. Bo went through the GJ tube procedure without a problem and they got some food in him. PT came by today and checked out Bo's muscle and joints, things are looking pretty good considering he has been sick for over a week and just lying in bed. Tomorrow the hard work begins with Physical Therapy, they are going to "work him" Tomorrow they will also start turning the ventilator off some and getting Bo breathing on this own more. So little steps forward and not to many backwards.
Please continuing praying that Bo's body will continue healing itself, platelets increase, liver levels lower and kidneys cleaning those toxins out. Please pray that PT goes well and more importantly that Bo stays strong mentally and physically to get off the ventilator. Some people panic when they have to start breathing on their own because it is harder than before, but I am sure Bo will do well.

Christi,
We are so glad the day has gone well. Thank you so much for taking the time to update the blog. We all care so much for you and Bo and Addi. Not being there is hard, but the blog keeps us close and lets us know what prayers Bo and you need. I know it takes time for you to continue to keep us in touch. Be sure to get rest and food. You need to stay strong for you and your family. Most of all thank you for your honestly and for the humor you add to keep us all grounded. We love you and are so thankful for you love for Bo.
Have a good night.
Love,

Christi,
Bo showed me his x-rays 2 years ago. Tell Bo that if he can ride a bike up a hill with tumors covering almost all of his lungs there is not a whole lot he can't do. may get harder before it gets easier, but Bo can do anything.

It's so nice to hear good updates. It means a lot that you take the time to keep this blog so thanks Christi for updating it. We all cannot wait for Bo's first message! Keep strong, take care of your self, eat well, rest whenever possible, and stretch and walk to keep yourself relaxed and calm through out each day. Bo and Addi need you well too.

Christi,

With God's help I know that Bo will be able to recover. My dad just got home after being in the hospital for 5 mos. on a ventilator. He is 82 years old! If God can strengthen Dad I know He is able to strengthen and heal Bo. Over the last 5 mos. I have seen God do incredible things. Keep trusting Him. God will do it in His time and in His way.

We will continue to pray for Bo's swift recovery and for strength for you and Addi and the rest of your family.

Love,
Miss Kim

Christi -
My sister was telling me about http://www.sitterconnection.net/ - It is a service in Raleigh area of highend sitters - you have to pay 40 dollars to get the list but you can esure that you have an awesome, (screened) person to watch Addi. That way you can have a person to watch her all the time and take her to fun stuff around the area.

My sister also said that anything in the Hope Valley area would probably be okay because their are very nice areas around there.

She said camps are hard to find for under three but they do have the goddard school daycare around there - Just a thought - Also you may want to ask the college if there are any babysitting boards if you don't want to use the sitterconnection -
Hope this helps!
