We have another step forward. Today they are working getting Bo's need for the ventilator lowered and he is working hard and doing well. He concentrates so hard that I never knew he could be so serious. I know most of it is his fuzzy head with all the drugs, but Bo does have a game face. He is also going to try and sit in a chair. This will probably wipe him out, but it should be a good change of pace and will allow his lungs to work in a more proper fashion. There is also the chance that he might eat something...it will be through a tube in his nose. I would say something is better than nothing, but in the instance I truly do not know. At least this will wake up his gut. I will hopefully see him after they move them, if they can. Thanks for the prayers and hope that the ventilator will be off soon.
Love
Christi

Christi,
You are a beautiful and a very special family, and you have a wonderful network of good friends. Although the circumstances could have been better, I feel privileged to have met you and those close to you.

I don’t know your Bo, but one day I will. The love you have for him simply radiates from you. I’m sure he can feel it when you are near, and I am sure he draws strength and a will to fight from it. Stay near him and keep the faith. Set little goals. Be good to yourself.

Bo and Christi my kids have been praying for Bo for two years now, at school and at dinner, since we first found out. I recently asked the kids to start to pray for you as well Christi. Your strength is amazing and an inspiration to myself, my wife and kids, as well as everyone who knows you. We are all looking forward to the day you two can walk out of there and reunite with your daughter and resume your lives together. We will keep up the prayers and you two keep up the fighting. There are lots of people in the Lake Norman area praying and waiting for your return.
