Hello Everyone, Christi still...sorry hopefully soon we can Bo to do some typing. But I have really great news, Bo is home! We are so excited! He is moving a little slow and very tentative with his breathing, but at home. I cannot tell you how happy I am to have the two people I love most in the world under one roof. We are going to have to try and get Mr. Johnson to slow down so no more visits to Duke. Although we did meet some really wonderful people that make living and fighting more important than ever.
Bo left the hospital with his lung healed up, but after lying in bed for 7 days and only getting up to use the restroom, he is a little tired and winded with everything he does. I think a couple of days chasing Miss Addi around might help.
I just wanted to let everyone know that things are on the mend. I think the collapsed lung was a wake up call to all of us that the fight is still going strong. Bo is a little mentally tired right now and mad at cancer, but I know he will get through this. If anyone has any great words of encouragement and inspiration, please send them his way.
Love

Welcome home. My family was talking about Bo's battle and spirit and someone said "I bet Superman wears Bo J. pjs to bed". Though you might like this image! Be good to yourself. Laugh and chase Addi. (Can you tell we're not golfers? ha ha). Sarah & Family from chicago.

Bo, Christi, and Addi,
You guys have survived more cancer than any of the doctors thought possible so I know that this little hiccup won't derail you from your fight. You (Bo) are so strong and you have such an amazing family - that is enough to make the impossible happen. Keep telling your mind to fight off the cancer in your body. We love you and are praying for you and your soon-to-be cancer free lungs!!!
Love, Scott and Katie
Welcome HOME...what a wonderful feeling it must be! What does one say, other than, "keep your head high, we will pray for you every day, and keep fighting the fight!" I like the "mad at Cancer" note in your blog....we can only imagine how you are feeling and if it helps, we'll be mad at it too and help drive it away!
We think about you all of the time and for someone who wears the Addi's Cure bracelet and have not taken it off in since the start of 2007, you are a constant reminder to me, my family, and everyone who asks about the bracelet, how strong of a man you are and family you have!
