We just talked with the doctor and we are still working on small steps. Bo's temperature is creeping back up so they are running cultures to see if he has an infection or what might be causing this, I sure wish Bo would make this a little easier on my and the doctors, but this is Bo we are talking about here. Part of the doctors frustrations is that they have very little wiggle room with the medicines that they can give them. Bo still has fluid around his left lung that they are going to try and treat through tubes and clotting medicines, Bo does not like the blood thinners that is what might be giving his hands the reaction that they are having, we are waiting on those results. He might have another operation is remove that fluid, but at this time we will cross that bridge when we come to it. They are going to put him back on dialysis to see if that will help with the infections and build up in fluids, pray that this is the easy solution.
Today will be a big waiting day, so I apologize if I do not get updates until later. No news is good news always remember that and small steps forward is all we are looking for, small steps.
Love
Christi and my sweetest Addi girl

Bo is a strong guy.. I know his immune system is working overtime to get his body stabilized. Keep fighting Bo, and know that you are in the thoughts and prayers of so many people.

We continue to pray for the both of you to get through these tough times. The Addi's Cure bracelet continues to be worn proudly (have NEVER taken it off since the benefit dinner at Mia Famiglia in early 2007), and is a constant reminder of the inspiration Bo is to so many people for his strength and perserverence! Stay strong Bo!

Dear Christi and family,

For those who trust in God we have this promise:

Isaiah 43:1-3

1 But now, thus says the LORD, who created you, O Jacob,
And He who formed you, O Israel: “ Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by your name; You are Mine.
2 When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; And through the rivers, they shall not overflow you.
When you walk through the fire, you shall not be burned,
Nor shall the flame scorch you.
3 For I am the LORD your God,
The Holy One of Israel, your Savior.

You are not alone as you go down this path. God is with you. He will sustain you.

Psalm 112:6-7
For the righteous will never be moved; he will be remembered forever. He is not afraid of bad news; his heart is firm, trusting in the LORD.

We pray for wisdom for the doctors and strength for Bo and God's healing hand to be upon him.

Stay strong in the Lord, Christi. He will bring you through this. Please give Addi a hug for me.
Miss Kim

It is now more important than ever to keep praying for Bo's full recovery, and for God to give strength to Christi and Addi during this difficult time in their lives.

Ask everyone you know via in person, phone, e-mail, internet, or text message, to pray for Bo, Christi, and Addi. Contact at least six individuals or families that you know and ask them to pray. Then ask them to contact six individuals or families. Ask the members of your church, work, civic organization, club, college, school, etc., to pray for this family, that have given so much of themselves, and their lives, through the Addi's Cure Foundation. It is the least all of us can do to help them in their time of need. The power of all of our prayers can help Bo, Christi, and Addi to get through this.

If you do say a prayer today, or tomorrow, or whenever, please list your names, city, and state on this blog so that Bo, Christi, and Addi will know the huge amount of support there is for their family. Thanks.

Dear Christi,
Thank you! Thank you! I now live at the coast in NC and miss seeing BO, Jo and Bill but read this blog constantly and pray for all good things for all of you. I so appreciate the time you take to inform us. I feel uplifted just being "connected". You are kind to know we all care and need to know whatever progress there is. I am sending butterfly kisses to the little princess, Addi. Baby steps lead one to giant leaps and Bo will be a "giant leaper", for sure!

It wouldn't be Bo Johnson if he didn't show a little resistance to the whole thing. But it also wouldn't be Bo Johnson if he didn't fight with everything he has in him. With the faith of a mustard seed you can move mountains, but you move it one rock at a time. Eventually, this mountain will be moved. You're nothing short of remarkable, and will surely come out of this stronger.

I love you guys!

"Dear Bo,
I hope you wake-up soon. I hope you feel better soon.

Love, CJ"

Hannah has a little prayer she learned at preschool and the end of it says "Thank-you God for (she said 'Bo') today". And to "take care of Bo, Christi and Addi".

Christi, Addi, Bill, Jo, and family,
We will continue praying for Bo several times a day. I have asked many people to add Bo to their prayers and to follow his progress with the blog and many have told me they have done so. My two little ones have prayed for Bo and your family and want to know how he is doing every time they see me come to the computer. We have also said Thank You to God for the answered prayers we have all received so far. The strength you all have shown is amazing.

God Bless,
