Food Report

Morning - 4 poached eggs, toast with jelly
Lunch - grilled chicken salad, fruit
Dinner - Kasey's leftovers, plus Tracia's leftovers

This blog is dedicated to Jay R. He has been my riding companion and I am pretty upset he is moving to Scottsdale. However, he is going to start FIG of the West, so I am happy about that. He is not my twin, since he is a bald guy too. See the bald comment at the bottom, Jay is the same.

I need your help. My cousin Merritt asked me a simple question: "Do you eat eggs everyday?" The answer is basically yes. If you are out there and know of something else you think I can eat to help change things up, post it on the blog. I am getting bored of eggs.

I got up and rode this morning. Work was great. Tina Bradley sent Christi and I some really cool stuff. Christi, Addi and I met Jenny for lunch today. She gave Addi a present, a stuffed frog. Addi really liked it. She gave me a book from Joel Osteen. Her daddy, a really cool guy, gave me a Cleveland Wedge. Joyce reads my blog all the time. The Simpson family has always been so nice to me.

After lunch I realized that I have to go to Dallas on Sunday to meet with a huge producer. I am sad to even be gone from Addi and Christi one day. I will miss them.

Bill and Jo came over for dinner tonight. Addi and I played a lot tonight as Christi went out for a minute to the store. I gave Addi her bath. She is SO AWESOME!

Last but not least, I do not want to lose any readers. What do you want to hear from me? I am not really sure what to say to you. Basically I feel fine and I have cancer. Other than that, my life is pretty normal. Yes, I am worried about kicking the bucket. No, I have not given up. Yes, I am a handsome bald guy. My buddy Brian is a catch, but I do think he is getting ready to be off the market for good.

Is there anything else?

Bo - I was at Food Lion (huntersville, Behind Arby's) They had Flax seed cereal in the organic section, I thought of you, It look sort of yummy but I was not sure Rice Milk and Flax seed ceral would be good but hey you never know until you try. They also had a lot of other natural/organic tyoe food that I had never heard of. It is all in one place so if it isn't what you can eat then you don't have to waste too much time. Again I am not sure this will help you, but know I enjoy reading your life cancer or not. I get US WEEKLY and I always read your blog first! Maybe you should get sponsers on the blog :) I love hearing about ADDI - as Brooks is 1 month older (BTW she is so more advanced, I am jealous). Your love for your family is amazing! Don't worry - we love what you write - if you stopped the blog - I may have to get a job to keep me entertained so please keep writing, because I don't want to work!

Bo, If you haven't tried Bob's Red Mill Foods, they have some of the finest products available and the costs of their products is very reasonable in comparison to other companies. The business website is: http://www.bobsredmill.com. You can buy over 400 different items and 40 of the food products are 100% organic. They offer pancake and waffle stone ground 10 grain flours, hot cerals, organic cereals, rolled oats, and many, many more products. You can also purchase their food products at the Food Lion in Cornelius. If the grocery store doesn't carry the product you want, ask them to order it for you. Most will. My suggestion is to vary your morning breakfast each day. Organic whole cereals with a different fruit topping sprinkled with ground flax seeds or walnuts and rice milk, 10 grain pancakes or waffles with organic maple syrup, stone cut oats with fruit toppings and rice milk. You can spice eggs up by creating an omlete with different vegetables or organic salsa on top. Make each meal an adventure instead of something you have to eat. You just have to be creative and the rest will fall in place. It's so very important that you eat a healthy breakfast each day.

I have an idea - since they haven't started the concrete on our parking lot out back may be we can grow you a home grown garden with fresh - non-fertillized veggies. At least we'd get some use of the lot. HA HA HA. Just kidding. I think they really will pour contrete....one day.

I like your blog. It's very cool because you are too busy to come chat with the life department so it allows us to keep tabs on Busy-Bo. Do you EVER slow down? You make me feel really lazy. :-) ~Roachy

Hey Bo. There are a few sites for organic eating. One is superberries.com This one gives you recipes using the Aroniaberry (chokeberry) that is reported to have the highest concentration of flavonoids and antioxidants. You can also try scojuice.com and fantasticfoods.com I'm not sure that these are foods you are interested in or can eat, but maybe you will find a little variety. I read your blog on a very regular basis and my prayers are with you.

Bo,
You did not know how the bald guy rolls, but now you do. Some guys have perfect heads, and others have hair ; ) . I will miss the riding too. We can still motivate eah other though. Especially on Mondays, I am gonna have to get up at 5 am to catch the meetings, so now and the wife can go afterwards. You are the only reason that I can get out of bed in the mornings to ride and are an inspiration dude. We have you a road bike now, so we can definitely crank out some miles.

Peace,

Baldylocks
