Tuesday, June 20th

Today was a workday like all of the rest. We were pretty busy and it was a good day. I have not really been sleeping all that well, however, it has not really affected me too much. I rode the bike again today and went another 8 miles. Every night I get so excited after the bike ride so I get in the Tahoe and see the actual mileage. Where I ride is through my neighborhood and it is pretty hilly. It is a fun ride. Tonight for dinner, Christi made atlantic cod and squash and zucchini casserole. It was really good. Tomorrow, I have to get up at 5:00 am to head to Duke for a check up and a meeting with Susan Blackwell. I am sure that she is just going to make sure that I am doing ok after the chemo last Thursday.

Bo,
You are not struggling with cancer. Cancer is struggling with you. It does not want you ride. In fact, it hates it when you ride b/c it knows that it can't hang. Cancer is a doughnut eater. You are sprouts and free range. You are the "Big Ring". Cancer can't hang with the "Big Ring". It picked a fight with the wrong guy and it has no idea that you are about to stomp a mudhole in it's punk a$$.

Bo,
Thank you for sharing your journey It is hard being so far away. I wish I were closer and could offer you and Christi some help. I think it is good that you are writing this Blog. Not only for us but for you to write down you feelings. There are so many people who love you and have you in their prayers.
I am expressed with your bike riding! It sounds like you are doing everything right. Keep up the exercising and eating right. Keep being positive.
I will continue to follow your Blog.

I love you,
