Bill, Jo (mom), Christi and I went to Boone, NC to look at a piece of property today. It is a Ginn property that they are developing in Boone. It was super nice. Basically, the skinny is this:

6300 acres for 1500 homesites. Average lot size is a little over 2 acres. They have given 45% of the land into a land trust so no one can build on it. It was super beautiful....

It was also nice to see Chad S, Rob G, and Banks H. These guys work up there, and they are fraternity brothers of mine. It was good seeing them...

We were going to stay the night up there, but some things got screwed up so we came back down to Charlotte. Before we left, we ate at The Blowing Rock Cafe. I had halibut, and it was really good. If ever in Blowing Rock, this is a place to go....
