Sunday started with me and Addi watching cartoons. We did not go to church this morning, we were both tired from a long day in Hendersonville. We got up and had breakfast as a family. Walker came over at 11:45 and we went to hit golf balls before a 1:00 pm tee time. We played golf with Duncan and Eric. Everyone did well. It was really hot. (44-47 for me)

I got to my mom and Bill's about 6:30 for dinner. We had brown rice, pepper and onions, tuna steaks, and broccoli slaw for dinner. It was great. When I got home, I was still hungry, so I had two bowls of cereal with rice milk, and two pieces of bread with almond butter and honey. The cereal and bread were gluten free. This is going to take a long time to get used to!

Off to bed. Have a long week ahead of us!

Again, thanks for all of the comments. I will try my best to get back to all of you some day soon!

Bo and Christi-

You both are such an inspiration to everyone that knows you. Both of your attitudes are so positive which can be very hard. If anyone beats this, and they will, its going to be you Bo. Keep your head up. Also, I am coming by soon to visit and see Addi MoJo! It has been way too long. I think its my turn in the rotation to babysit! I love you both!

Bo,
This is Mickey Weaver one of your agencies in Arkansas. Just want you to know that our prayers and thoughts are with you and your family. I do not know alot about you I have met you one time but you really made an impression on me. Just to let you know I have been through this with my Dad. He had cancer. He went through the whole situation much like what your going through and I am happy to say he is cancer free and has been for 7 years. You can beat this. I know that you believe in Jesus Christ and he is the Healer. (Isaiah 53:5) We do not have to believe what man says we just have to believe what God says. A verse came to my mind today as I was reading your blog, "For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you, and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a FUTURE". Jeremiah 29:11 Just want you to know we are praying for you here in Arkansas.
Your friend,
Mickey

You are truly amazing. We get your health updates from Rachel & Justin Faunce (we used to live near them in Birkdale Village). There are several people that think they have hit the bottom and give up. Very few think something like this is a way that showing that you can overcome anything. This is just the beginning of the next stage of your life that will make you a stronger person (not that you need the strength)!
Keep up the bike riding and stay positive! Cancer cannot win if you stay strong.
Cancer has been all around me all my life so I have ran 2 marathon with the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society (raising money to help with patient services and research) and it is amazing what a positive attitude can do to beat the odds.
Stay strong and stay on Justin!

RUN HAPPY!!!
(A little something that we would say when we were training to try and keep the moment alive but I guess in your case it is BIKE HAPPY!!!!!!)

Hi Bo! I just want you to know how moved I am by your strength and courage. Brent and I are sending prayers and thoughts from FL your way. I think your little girl is so adorable and I know you are so proud.
I hope this is a great week for you. I hope you don't mind, but I wanted to recommend a book for you, ( I know you are so busy right now and are probably doing a lot of reading) I know that a good inspirational book regarding the fight against cancer is ' Where the Buffaloes Roam' I apologize if this is not the correct title, i believe the author is Bob Stone ( the Stone family actually lived in Valle Crucis which was right down the way from where we went to college!) anyway, I know this is a great read and wanted to mention to you.
Again, we will be praying for you and your precious family.
Take care,

Bo:

Sorry we weren't able to catch up with each other today. I appreciate your call and kind words. As Marty has told you, my diagnosis for lung cancer came last Tuesday and I'll be heading to UNC this Tuesday for meetings with my "Team" of Doctors. I would like to talk with you and see how things are progressing, though I've been reading your blog and you've got the right attitude about this. Glad to see a fellow warrior in the battle. Let's talk when you get a chance. Keep up the fight!

P.S. I like what you're doing with the blog. My wife has encouraged me to do the same for family and freinds. I think that it will be a good outlet for me as well. Prayers and thoughts for you and your family.
